Theme: Designing Masks

Goal of Session or Activity: Each student will pick a style of store-bought mask to decorate and embellish.  These masks would be suitable for Halloween attire if desired.  Students will find the mask a vehicle to express emotion or alter ego. Completion of the mask will give a sense of self accomplishment.  Students will learn about each other in the process.  Play acting and role playing avenues will be opened.

In addition, some students have returned mini skeletons from the writing class the week before which are dressed in character.
